Recruitment

We are looking for the following classes:

Greetings! Capital Punishment is looking for some experienced players to fill out our 10 man roster for WoD. You can apply through our new website! seekpunishment.guildlaunch.com

Our current raid schedule:
Friday: 8-11 server, (9 – 12 eastern)
Sunday: 8-11 server (9 – 12 eastern)

Our sidebar lists the classes we are currently seeking.

While we have priority in recruiting these slots, we are always willing to consider exceptional applicants. Just know that if you app for a slot that’s currently full, you will have no guaranteed raid spot.
Casuals: We will accept casual apps that demonstrate the level of maturity that fits with our guild. If you are a casual app, you will be expected to be active in our community, that means forums, guild chat, or our website chat.
Player requirements:
Dedication to researching fights without needing to be “hand held”.
Personal Responsibility for staying up to date on your own class changes, and knowing how to maximize your performance in a PVE environment.
Patience in learning new content. Peacing out or alt f4-ing after a few wipes is not acceptable.
Commitment to two nights a week of raiding.
ilvl: Irrelevant at this point.
*Given that we are recruiting two very vital roles in the raid, we expect that you can keep calm under pressure, have a sense of humor, be able to take constructive criticism, and constantly strive to improve your gameplay as we progress through the new raid instances. We also understand that the healing changes in WoD might present a steep learning curve, so healers with previous expansion experience will be given priority.

Perks:
Flasks and Food will be provided by the guild bank (You will be responsible for any other consumables that will improve your performance).
Enchants and Gems for your main spec will also be provided by the guild bank.

The core of this guild has extensive raid experience though previous expansions coming into WoD both in support and leadership roles. The majority of us are 9-5’ers with lives. This means that when we log on to raid, we are there to get things done, have fun, and log off in time to get up for work in the morning. In light of my previous statement, this means that organized flex groups, PvP teams, or other such shenanigans are not a fixed part of our schedule (though you are welcome to take the initiative). Our two day raid schedule has worked very well pre-xpac in accommodating those with jobs and lives, and we intend to keep it that way. We will be a prominent normal / heroic 10 man guild in WoD, but at present have no plans for maintaining a raid roster higher than 14. If you have any questions b-tag an officer or the GM:
